I am running for State Senator, Washington 1(Washington County plus Braintree, Orange and Stowe)

Vermont's motto is Freedom and Unity. I believe that freedom and unity work hand-in-hand. I believe we can apply the principles of freedom and liberty to issues such as healthcare, education, environmental, food and farm policy and market economies ,and our communities will be stronger for it.

I seek to be a Senator who takes seriously the words of the Vermont Constitution. I am guided by the words of Ch 1 Article 18 calling for adherence "to the principles of justice, moderation, temperance, industry, and frugality, in order to protect and preserve liberty for the people of Vermont.
